Belo’s body care line now includes whitening
MANILA, Philippines--It was an evening of “Skin to Skins,” as Belo Essentials launched its new and improved “body care” line, consisting of whitening soap and lotion, at Greenbelt 5’s outdoor garden area.
Dr. Vicki Belo and daughter Cristalle Belo Henares, managing director for Intelligent Skin Care Inc., welcomed denizens from show biz, politics and high society.
Champagne provided by Lusso Bar flowed well into the night, while guests helped themselves to hors d’oeuvres prepared by Margarita Fores.
Actress Ruffa Gutierrez and lawyer Adel Tamano hosted the event, which culminated in a fashion show featuring Balenciaga’s latest leather bag collection. Actress Bea Alonzo, one of Belo Essentials’ newest celebrity endorsers, also graced the affair.
Before the night was over, Belo, who’s famous for her numerous designer purses as well as her recent high-profile love affair, gave away Balenciaga bags to three lucky guests.
Unlike Belo Essentials’ initial foray in the mainstream beauty market, its new set of products comes with such gentle whitening ingredients as Glutathione, Kojic Acid and Gigawhite. They address Asian women’s need to whiten their skins without drying them.
