I would like to again thank the Philippine Daily Inquirer for publishing my inside story on the NBN-ZTE scam.

At the same time, I would like to correct a slight error which came out in its Sept. 5 issue, specifically the story on Jun Lozada where he said the First Gentleman should be charged.

The reporter erroneously stated that I had dinner with Mr. Mike Arroyo on one occasion. This is incorrect. I testified at the Blue Ribbon committee last week that I was at a hotel in Makati at the same time that the First Gentleman was there. We never met, we never talked, we never acknowledged each other in any way.

The only time I ever met Mr. Arroyo was at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club. This was when a visibly angry Mike Arroyo told me to “back off” from the NBN-ZTE deal. I could only interpret his words as a veiled threat.
